Do you plan on cutting out more of the stock t2 hood? The part under the hood, the hole seems a bit small....

its the initial D lip.....dunu udndu ndun dundund udn udnud ndun
whoever sprayed the scoop and hood for you should
spray the hood that is visable under that scoop being that so much of it is visable through it. |
lip is $500 too much

the car looks great Scott! Wasn't Rotary Performance (www.rx7.com) selling these a few years back? I think I saw it on their site... |
why does it look like there was some cutting or somthing involved in the instilation of the lip

There's a thread on the other forum in the FC section entitled "Today's fun with the hacksaw" or something like that. He made the opening bigger so more air can flow to radiator, IC, etc.
It would look nice like that. How about fibreglassing it to the bonnet so you can't see the gaps.
so that scoop is still functional?
I would be very interested in getting one, let me know when you get them in.
that fc looks so nice, clean too.

I didn't paint the hood, it's stock.... I cleaned it after I took that 2nd pic and it looks red now instead. why does it look like there was some cutting or somthing involved in the instilation of the lip not required... so that scoop is still functional? it's functional for removing air now instead of brining air in. I'm ordering 5 more scoops this week to sell but might take a month to come. |

still got some more ducting to do though. it would work alot better with an e-fan I think... I think the stock fan kinda fights it. I gota make some more shrouding. |
Looks good, but i wudnt use one unless i had a FMIC https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
