okay, so i have been searching around trying to get a solid answer abotu my question. so i will ask it to you guys.

i have a stock s4 harness, ecu, and injectors. but i have an S5 engine and turbo. right now i am focusing on suspension, and suspension related stuff (bushings, davedge's rear subframe stuff, and lots of other stuff) right now i want my car to be able to handle better than go faster. but in 3 weeks all of that will be done. and once i am done with this i am goign to move onto power and effiency. i am not looking for anything massive, but something that will be fun, fast, and reliable. i was thinking around 300hp to the wheels.

as of right now the only power mods that i have on my car are; ported wastegate, hks filter, warboro 255 fuel pump, 3" Apexi gt spec pro turbo back, and a RB FCD.

i was first thinking abotu getting some 720 secondaries, but i dont know if i can run those with my stock ecu. i understand that to reach 300 i will need to get some sort of fuel regulator along with a better turbo, and that is where you guys come in biggrin.gif

if i do a standalone, then i will do haltec because they and speed machine are 20 min away. but as far and fuel regulators, and injectors i dont know what to do.

also; if i do plan on doing these mods should i get an s5 ecu and harness to better run with the engine?

i want to do things right the first time, not get something that is just a temporary increase in power. if i do buy somethign i want it to be something that i will use throughout the whole process.

as you can see, i know nothign about power mods. up until this point power has been the last thing on my mind for about 5 years.

couple of little things. you will need more fuel, and you can run 720's on the stock ecu. it works fine, occasionally if they turn on at light throttle, you'll notice but otherwise it runs good. it works cause with the intake and exhaust you've increased power by 10% or so, and putting 720's in is also a 10% increase, so it works out to be pretty close.

walbro is good for 300hp

next step for power would be a larger turbo....

then you need the haltech to control it

dave from speed machine just told me that it would run like crap. i was thinking maybe doing it only on the secondaries and waiting to put them in on the primaries after i get a standalong or find a good deal on a piggy back

I wish I knew what you needed.... I just want updates since you seem to have the same goal as me. :P

well power. simple as that. but something so simple cant be soo easy.

i could give my car to dave at sport compact car, tell john to do what he needs to to make my car reach 300hp safely and decently affordably. but that would cost me more than if i did it myself. and since i didnt do it myself i wouldnt know what exactly and how exactly everything was done (unless i drilled him and/or watched over his shoulder).

i have this post on the other major forums, i am trying to get multiple ways at looking at it and see what other people are doing, or ideason how they might do it.
