Guys,
Thanks for the bandwidth. I feel stupid. I've worked with these cars and doing stuff slightly new. The tranny I got was for a TII, don't know what year but the tranny saddle is missing. I was going to buy a new one but mazdatrix list one for s4 and s5. This tranny is going into a s5 chassis. Is there a huge difference between them? Carlos |
i think you should use the s5 saddle for the s5 body, i could be wrong.

yep, if theyre two part #'s theyre different and you use the one for your car! why would you do any different?
|
Thanks guys,
I went to Mazdatrix for some parts and asked. They said to stick to the s4 because of the tranny. I guess I will find out tommorow how it goes. |
bolt pattern is the same on the car, but changes on the trans s4 vs s5

J9 WINS AGAIN! KEVIN. Everything just went right in. The S4 saddle works when putting a s4 TII tranny into a s5 vert. The saddle that I got from my friend is beat up. I guess mazda does not make that bushing by it self huh, you have to buy the whole saddle? C |

C yea, or make your own bushing, i did that on my n/a...used one of those rubber exhaust hangers and trimmed it until i could hammer it into the saddle, works alright, but nothing like brand new. kevin. |
