Installation is pretty easy.. I'm sure you could do it yourself.. Or take a trip down Hamilton area and I'll do it for you?

FlukeSDS 04-20-2004 06:21 PM

Hamilton is pretty far, my Rx-7 has 37000 original miles on it lol. I'd end up putting like 1000 miles in a weekend https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png lol. Thanks for the offer though. Looks like I've joined up with the right community.

Thanks Again https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

you might try the mazdatrix header / cat combo. i'm not sure how loud they will be, but teh headers will give you more power, and the cat should muffle the sound some, while increaseing power since it is "high flow"

Using that combination at full throttle above 3500 RPM is so loud that person in the car behind you will start to bleed from the ears. It sounds worse than a GSXR750 with a Yoshimura pipe and NO BAFFLE in an enclosed garage. That cat "may" muffle the sound some, but if it were any louder it would kill somebody. I've got to lay down now. I feel woosey.

Just got a chance to listen to the "Complete Dual Exhaust System With The Racing Beat Mufflers" ... Whoa ... That's pretty load lmao. Is that streetable??

I have the full Racing Beat set-up on my 89 N/A; 2 into 1 header, presilencer and the affore mentioned and pictured catback. I was also concerned about the noise level as the car is a ragtop, but to my surprise the exhaust tone is tame. The true dual exhaust is much louder in my opinion especially with moderate to extreme port work

So you've basically got the same system as what's being sold at the mazdatrix link posted above? I also just noticed that's listed in the Race section ... That system is getting "scarier" by the minute ... but very very Intriguing lmao.

I would also pick up a K&N drop in filter. Gotta let it inhale more, and exhale more. Unless you have already done this, my mistake.

G'luck. And doing an exhaust is not too hard to do, just takes time and tools. Oh yes, and hand cleaner also. KEEP your stock exhaust. Don't sell it.

Anywho, good luck with yours.

the mazdatrix one in the video is a true dual, which should be louder then the normal racing beat catback and things.

check out the racing beat site maybe?

Exactly, true dual is louder. I opted for the other, not a bad system.
