so the problem that has been plaguing my cold starting struck again. This time, it kept up for like 5 minutes with white smoke pouring out the exhaust mixed with a sure gasoline smell. could have been sensors, not sure, either way, it went away. So it cleared up, and i begin driving through the parking garage. midway through, the car stalls and the problem is worse than ever. I pull into an empty spot, and turn it off. i try revving it while the timer runs, still crap. The whole car shakes and sputters as I rev. finally, i turn it off, then try to start it. it floods. i pull the fuse, unflood it, and crank it again, floods again.



So I parooze through the haynes manual as "ignition" catches my eye. I mess around with the ignition wires, noticing they seem loose at the, i guess coil or whatever boxes they plug into, and push them in. they move in, and I unflood again. i try starting it up...it works perfectly. hopefully the problem is fixed and this wasn't just a coincidence.

White smoke though? damn dude that usually isnt from it running rich or anything, white is either some heavy ass oil or coolant, better check that out. (coolant system pressure tester)

the 1991 blaze red mazda rx7 coupe, billows out whiteish smoke when its flooded.

not fixed, happened again this morning. It's weird, though, cuz sometimes it will act fine, then all the sudden just start stalling out. That didn't happen this morning, but sometimes is the case.

this isn't hurting my engine, is it? it sure does shake around a lot during this time.
