The Racing Beat road race mufflers and the "regular" cat-back mufflers??
I was browsing through the Racing Beat web page and I noticed that the road race ones are $5 more? They look the same to me https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png Regular ... http://www.racingbeat.com/photos/16443.jpg Road Race ... http://www.racingbeat.com/photos/16439a.jpg |
The one I'm looking for is this one ...
|
I just noticed that the "regular" has a 3-inch polished 304 stainless steel tip ... and the "Road Race" has a 3.5-inch polished 304 stainless steel tip.
Are there any other differences? |
Its prolly just the way they sound...3.5 would flow more, but for N/A you still need back pressure...
Though I've never really thought about this... Brent |
That's what I was thinking, I just hope the one in the picture I attached is the "regular" one cause that's what I'm probably going to get.
|
ok if you goto their site you will find out that the road race mufflers have a longer pipe going to the y-pipe(road race of course)
you can use old mufflers with the help of their extension tubes https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |

The road race is very new, and i dont know fo anyone with one yet.
the pic is most likely the regular one, ro a turbo one. |
i didnt know it was that new. i'm wanna say i'm fairly sure the red car is turbo. that pic is super familiar (rx7club). either way, i dont see how it could be the "regular" one judging the angle of the exhaust tip.
good luck with the search, though |

Is this the exhaust you're looking for? This is 3inch, then splits into dual 3inch, and then the mufflers cut it down. It's really nice and quiet actually.. Very sleeperish |
