im gonna have to replace my driver's side fender real soon. the thing is i got every bolt holding it on but those clips that hold it on in the front. nt to mention about every bolt on the bottom snapped due to rust. so do u think a can tap them and reverse them back out with a tap and die set? how do i get these out? and do those clips have anything to do with mounting the bumper?

these are the clips i was talking about. they are on the front end holding the fender on. are they also used to attach the bumper? this pic has two out of the three of them. there is one more above the one on the top.

yes they hold 3 peices together (bumper/support/fender)
if they broke just cut them off and drill a hole and use a normal 10m weld the one side so it will not rotate. |
Just replace that whole piece from the dealer. Those always break.

no i dont know if u understood. i want to take them off so i can take the fender off. they are the only things holding the fender on.

if the nuts are off them then take the fender off, you will have to take the bumper off first or try to pull the one side of the bumper
out. Those studs come out with the bumper those strips are like $14 from Mazda |
