I am gearing up for a suspension job. I have new struts and new springs already, so now all i need to buy is a bushing kit, and the DTSS elim bushings. My question's are:

1) The total hyperflex kit by ES. Does that have every bushing I will need? Or are there additional ones that are not included with the kit, which I will need to buy?

2) I will only have 2 days for the job...can this be done with out a press? I only have hand tools, but I may have access to air tools.

3) My buddy told me that a propane torch will not burn hot enough to melt the old rubber bushings. Is this true? If so, how should I burn them off?

Any other advise?

i replaced all the rubber bushings in my fiero with poly ones using nothing more than a propane torch to burn them out.

all the red stuff.

man that was messy to do, it stinks like hell and pops rubber **** all over the place. People have told me you can just heat them and they should pop out, mine didnt, but they burned for a while til there was nothing left and stunk up the whole neighborhood.

the dtss you might be able to do witout a press, but its the front lower control arm rear bushings that are the bitch, skip the bushings and go for the mazdacomp bearing kit

I'm in the process of installing the hyperflex kit now on my 7. It should have everything you need except the DTSS bushings. I have done one of these kits before on a Honda and it was ridiculous with hand tools. One thing that helped was drilling through the stock bushings with different drill bits to get them started. If you have an S4, the hyperflex kit includes everything you need for the front and rear sway bar end links too which is much cheaper than buying the RB end links although those are adjustable.
