In case it isn't obvious, be sure to remove that fill plug BEFORE you remove the drain plug, in case you can't get the fill plug off for whatever reason.

Yup I knew that https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/beerchug.gif

in ca we can use a 14mm open end wrench.

when you put it back on, a dab of silicon, and leave it snug, doesnt need to be torqued down

Totally unrelated but, Amp has the best video id!

And yes, I have run into the problem of doing a clutch, draining the fluid, bench pressing the tranny back in... than not being able to get the fill plug open! Sucks!

thebigbluecan 10-10-2007 07:51 PM

I have sprayed it 3 times today with wd40 and let it just soak there. Is wd4 good enough to soak it with? I didn't try to remove it yet. I'm waiting until fri or sat.

I like using Gunk penetrating oil for stuff like that.

Mr. Midas 07-28-2008 11:07 AM

Is the plug STILL STUCK???
