Alright so I have a 91 rx7 NA. It has been sitting in the same spot for the past 4 years I trade some things to the original owner that bought it back in 91 and towed it over to my house. Well I found this site saying what you should do to get you rx7 started when it has been improperly stored ( http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/unstore.htm). The women said she parked it in the drive way after buying a new Protege. There was nothing wrong when it was parked it ran fine and everything she just wanted a update from the FC. Well I drained the little bit of gas that was in the tank. The gas was a yellow orange color really close to the color of beer. Replaced the air filter where a ground squirrel decided to make his home at. Did a oil change and replaced the fuel filter. Tomorrow the new NGK plugs I ordered will be coming in. Advanced ordered me 4 lower plugs even though I asked them for 2 lower and 2 upper. (not sure if the lower and upper ones make a difference but I had them change it and order me the correct ones.) I put oil in the spark plug holes but I haven't turned the engine over by hand yet. Is the park really necessary? Tomorrow I will be trying to turn it over and hopefully it starts.

Cliff notes:

91 NA rx7 sat for 4 years same spot

nothing wrong before it was parked

did all normal maintenance to the car

drained the old gas out

put oil in spark plug holes

Question is is it neccesary to turn the engine over by hand and and more oil in the spark plug holes and then turn the engine over by hand again and repeat till im satisfied with the inside being lubricated?

EDIT:Ok well I put new plugs in took the battery out of a my prelude and threw it into the fc. I primed the fuel pump a couple times and then turned the key to start to car I can hear the starter turning and it attempting to start. Nothing happens..... I don't know whats wrong I'll be posting a video tomorrow when theres sunlight out because its too late and I need to charge the cameras battery. T.T

I would also try a compression test. one of the apex seals or more could be stuck from sitting so long. some atf or marvel mystery oil might free them up if this is the case

I think I've figured it out. The fule pump dones't even prime. I pulled the hose that goes from the fuel pump to the fuel filter and to see if it primes at all because I had a feeling that I wasn't getting any fuel at all. Turns out the fuel pump is bad I guess won't prime at all even when I jump the yellow connector with a paper clip. We will see I'll change the fuel bump when I get my paycheck and I'll let everyone know if it fixed the problem or not lol

Yeah replaced it with another fuel pump out of a 88 it worked. Had to attempt to start the car a couple times and then it finally started after my sister said stop its not going to start lol. White smoke started to pour out everywhere like ******* crazy and it wouldn't stop let the engine warm up for like 10 mins smoke stopped. Went and drove the car the check engine light is on and it bucks at hard when you start to give it the gas more. I think its the TPS but ionno I'll get it checked, the clutch needs to be replace also in it. The light for the instrument gauges is really dim not sure whats causing it.
