Definetly check wheel balancing. He could have thrown a weight. When my balancing was off, it wouldn't shake till over 50mph.

Yeah, he had that problem once before...on his way home from getting 4 new tires. I noticed that he curbed one of the rims I got for him. So he's probably hit a few potholes as well.

I once had a split a belt in a 2 month old tire. Check the balance, also- did he get any of his tires patched or plugged? Because that also can split a belt, when you looked at the tire, the tread went out of wack in this one area.

I'll have to check out his car again one of these days. I had to scold him for going 70 mph. That's above the speed limit.

cant it also be the Drive shaft? one of the universal joints on the GXL's shaft busted and was making the tranny vibrate. then again you are saying its more in the front....but if the tranny is vibrating check that and the tranny mounts....try the stuff the other peeps here said.

Yeah, I was thinking the u-joints, but he has all of the heat shields, etc. I didn't feel like taking them off to check.

Your brother should just give the car to me, you should protect your brother from vibrations that could cause some sort of nerve damage.

It's funny because he was telling me that it's shaking so hard that he has a hard time holding on.

You would think he would just slow down a bit for now?
