What mods are necessary to run a haltech as far as the replacement of sensors? can you still use some of the stock ones and/or do you have to buy some of the haltech sensors?

And also, is it possible to run the PowerFC for an FD on a second gen turbo2? cuz i hear the ones for fc's are discontinued

Bazai Racing has the info/hardware to use a PowerFC. Haltechs latest e6x seems to have issues with crank sensing using a stock 2nd gen CAS from what I've seen and they're fixing the problem via a reluctor adapter, which is lame. I'm a fan of the Autronic SM4.

thanks i'll check out the SM4. anyone else care to share what you recomend for a standalone? i live in jersey https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.gif the **** hole of america, and i don't really know of any shops that could tune anything up for me once i get one. do you guys tune them yourselves? i'm doing my own rebuild at the moment but i'd rather pay someone to tune it the right way cuz i would have no idea wat the hell i'm doin. anyone else in north/central jersey ever get their ecu tuned?

I'm happy with my Haltech installation. As I recall, you need a TPS, MAP sensor, and air intake temperature sensor. There are plenty of people who have used the Haltech successfully on rotaries.

if you are not sure about the Haltech or the Power FC try a Microtech LTX8 or a Wolf 3D both are nice

ive done the haltech using all the factory sensors, except the air temp. the stock FC air temp and the haltech are reversed from each other. in the e8/e11's you can configure the sensors, and use anything you want.

the e6x's are picky about the trigger inputs, our best results came with using the factory mazda harness, and not the haltech one.

if you're going haltech the e8 is much better than the e6x.
