im calling repost on myself, but for those not checking the other thread here are some pics

Gave it a quick wash today, put it head to head with my V8 car.

Im looking forward to putting some miles on it this holiday weekend.

Going to take it down by the beach tonight with the top down.

The car has not been waxed in 2-3 years, not since the last time I took to rotorfest.

It really needs a good detailing and carpet shampoo to get that sitting smell out of it.

I borrowed the bumper off my other car because it was already cut for a intercooler, now I can put a stock S5 bumper on that car.

I also have a new Odula lip for it, but I have to paint it.

That's got to be the sweetest 'vert I've ever seen. Well, seen a picture of. I don't see the actual cars around here anymore.

Rob x-7 07-03-2008 08:03 PM

felt real nice to have the top down- the wife loves it because its quieter then when it was a NA car.

Except when we got a little boost- she did not know what to make of the noises and the hooplah!

Another 50 miles down!

amp 07-03-2008 08:29 PM

makes me wanna get a vert... drop the 20b on it instead of the fd..

rob.. you should use a hump hose on the ic piping for the vert...

Rob x-7 07-04-2008 12:41 PM

I thought at least one person would mention that spy vs spy was a white spy vs a black spy?

I was putting the car away and when it was sitting sideways at my gate I should have taken a picture, it looked nice with a clear side shot.

Instead I pulled it in the driveway and took these, did not get the same effect- night pictures suck!

FTP lenses are not in becuase I have to take the bumper back off to paint it and change the lip.

fc3s4utnv 07-09-2008 08:53 PM

OMG, were did you get those pullies for your alternator, waterpump and crank?

Rob x-7 07-09-2008 10:20 PM

they are from a cosmo motor, alternator is a S6

still working out the AC, cosmo motor used v-belt for ac, FD uses ribbed so I am going to see if a FD compressor and

tensioner will bolt up to my bracket.

fc3s4utnv 07-11-2008 11:48 AM

Hmm how hard were they to get? I using the alternator that came with my klze for my mx-3, but it got an engineered v-belt pully on it. I'm not that comfortable with it.
