My car has spark for two seconds or so. then nothing. if you turn the key all the way off agian it will will spark for a couple secs again then stops. Is there any sensor besides my AFM that will cause this to happen ? I have no ideas left. I have replaced the CAS, AFM, and ECU running low on thoughts as to what could be wrong.

If you really want the car to happen without spending too much, get a used 1st gen ignition system. Dizzy, wires, coils. All you need is 12v and a relay, and you will have ignition that won't fail.
I wish I could tell you why there's no ignition, but something is causing the computer to say shut-down-engine (cutting ignition). Where did your old thread go? |

OK so a first gen ingnition system will make it run then. Any idea which sensor is telling my ecu to stop spark ?
|
also i checked to see if my coils were loosing power, the black yellow wire stays hot, so why the loss of spark ? this seems like it should not happen.

Did you look into the low oil level switch thing or no?
if the level sender is faulty it might be telling the motor to shut down I posted that in your old thread |
I'll check that out right now .I have checked everything else so why not I guess

SO I got underneath the thing and found the oil level sender wire, what are the ohms supposed to be at ? since its only one wire im not sure how to check it. I unplugged it and tried to start it. . . . . . same ****
