i understand that there is either vented discs or non vented discs in the rear, but is there a difference in the caliper between the 2? like the vented disc calipers are a bit wider to accommodate for the wider disc?

also...

the front discs... how do i remove them... lol... ive heated it up, ive sprayed penetrating lube on it, ive beat on it with a hammer... any other tricks for this... or just keep doing what im doing?

The front disks are held on by 2 + screws. they are a bitch to get out, a inpact screw driver works best( the kind you hit with a hammer and turns) or you can just drill them out. There is no differance in s4 5 lug rear calipers.

forgot to mention that i removed the screws in the front with ease... just having trouble removing the rusty disc

but is there a difference between the s4 4-lug rear calipers and s4 5-lug rear calipers?

Only help I can provide is to hit the rotor on oppisite sides to break it loose, I dont know about the 4 lug rear rotors sorry.

should be a random hole in the rotor, like 90 degrees from the screw hole.

find a bolt that fits and start tightening till the rotor pops off.

don't forget to check if the s5 caliper is for vented rear disk or solid rear

the red is where the screws are located...

s5? i own 2 s4s... one is my parts car (which is gonna be sold to a friend of mine) and the other is my project car...

so does your statement mean that there is a difference between the calipers for vented rotors as compaired to non-vented rotors?

the reason i ask... is cause if i dont need to swap the rear calipers out... then i wont, and its one less thing i have to worry about...
