Putting in a new 13b 6 port and wonder if I need the air pump and what I have to do to either block off the the hoses or what. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png

Is this motor an S4 or S5 (what year is this 6 port from)?
If it's 1986-1988 (S4), you don't need it.. You can eliminate it and plug the hole into the ACV, but if you're going to ditch the smog pump altogether the ACV basically has no function, so you might as well make or buy a blockoff plate for the ACV on the LIM. Don't plan on passing any emissions test anytime soon either. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png I'm not sure how familiar you are with RX7s, but anyways.. ACV = Air control valve, and LIM = Lower intake manifold. The main line from the smog pump leads to the ACV input which is bolted to the LIM. |

I thought it was a 6 port. What I know is that it is a 85 gsl-se 13b.

If you have the resources then make it yourself, otherwise I believe K2RD makes some, a few other places.
I'm sure you could get someone locally to make one for you from a the forums even if you had to? |
