Where is the best place to get silicone radiator hose. also can i get the heater hoses in silicone if I wanted. I really only need the lower heater hose, but i might as well replace 'em all.

I wonder how much the hose would be from a boating supply place? Boats use silicone hoses, seen them in blue, red, the whole ****.

Black hose for me, but isn't it better if the hoses are pre bent or whatever?

I guess the real question is: DOES ANYONE MAKE PRE-FORMED SILICONE RADIATOR HOSE FOR THE FC'S.

i had the hose techniques kit on another car.... I used their silicone hose for the overflow bottle but I didn't know you could use it for the rad hoses and heater hoses... figured it would get too hot??

The problem is that there are different options when it comes to radiators (Koyo vs. Fluidyne, etc.) for example. With this, not everyone has the filler necks in the same area. So, multiple combinations of radiator hoses will have to be made...which becomes a PITA.

I've seen people put a steel braided sleeve over their radiator hose for a non-stock/racey look.

That is an option for you.

I was asking because my lower heater hose is about to explode. Every oil change I get some oil on that hose, and now it softened it up. Silicone wouldn't do that, lasts longer and looks cooler, but i already ordered the stuff from mazda, so maybe next time.
