Hey guys.

I've got some questions about how to drive my 7. I know how to drive, but I dont wanna screw anything up. IE: ...*shift*.......*shift*....*clunk screech thudthudthud WHAM!*

What should I shift at to get the best results for daily driving? For that matter, how high do I wanna hold the RPMs? And when should I let 'er go?

Any tips for 'spirited' driving are also very welcome. heehee.

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the help!

One thing is for sure, to keep your engine always clean and all AVC system in good shape, you should try to rev the engine at least 5500rpm and more when shifting up, as often as possible (An engine that doesn't work hard enough gets clogged). Doing this, the secondary injectors (3800rpm+) stay in better shape and in asking it for power you keep your 6-port in shape too. Don't worry about it, these kind of engine are really made for turning fast, while piston engines get tired when turning too fast (too much moving parts in a to-and-from motion). https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif
