I think the engine bay is way to uneven to bother with filling holes.

It is so uneven that when you re-paint it all the angles reflect the paint so nicely that you wont notice

any extra holes.

Exactly...

We laid down 3 coats of clear in my engine bay and with any bit of light you dont really notice any of the "imperfections" or holes until you get down on it.

In the last pic I showed, you can somewhat see where the studs were removed and ground down. I didn't want to fill over them as all it would take is a wrench or something hitting it to chip the paint right off. I removed a total of 5 studs and MADE two larger holes for the IC piping, but thats it. No filling of any holes. You can always cover them up later and I like having holes to pass things through if/when needed.

As for colors... thats your choice. I went with innocent blue mica since its a factory JDM '99 color and I hadn't seen an FC in it yet..

I always liked yellow and orange as well. I think a dark midnight blue looks great too...

From a track perspective, I dont like black engines bays as its harder to see leaks, etc... white shows it the best.

I would agree that yellow cars w/ yellow engine bays dont look that great - yellow w/ black is good though (what else would go w/ yellow anyways)
