dont know the whole story but if you over heated it you might have gotten the apex seals hot enuff to weld them selfs to the block dont know hope this helps.

okay well Ill say this to clear some things up....

I did not overheat the motor, my temp gauge never goes up past a quarter and its been tested and it works so that wasnt it.....

now as for oil its brand new ... I just replaced it last week and its still full right to the top. but one thing oil related is that I never had any oil pressure once the engine was warm it would be 0kg/cm2 at idle and 20kg/cm2 at the most.... could this of seized ther motor? and if so what exactly internally could be damaged.

Also the coolant levels were normal and still are so I would like an explanation and maybe someone more qualified on rotaries too have a look at it before I can believe that its seized.....it pisses me off you know they pulled it in the shop for like 30 minutes and then just tell me its seized I find that not good enough of an explanation let alone an explanation at all like WHY did the motor seize

Yes, low oil pressure could certainly have caused a lockup, although the rotary has a very reliable oil pump. Anytime your oil pressure drops to zero you should immediately find out if the gauge is reading right, but until you do you must assume that it is and find out what's up.

I had a T2 who was BADLY overheated by the previous owner, this wasn't the case at all. Are you sure about that info, I've never heard of a welded apex seal to the rotor https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

No, you can't weld the apex seal to the housings. By the time things got that hot, everything else would be long long gone.

If you break an apex seal, the can lodge between the rotor and housing, locking the engine. Put a socket and bar on the e-shaft bolt and turn the engine backwards, if it will not move at all, then it is more likely a siezed bearing, which would go along with the low oil pressure.

You can do a visual inspection through the leading plug holes and the exhaust ports, find someone with a boroscope. If you cannot rotate the engine at all, this probably won't tell you much, unles you get lucky and see a trashed apex groove or seal. Bearing failure cannot be seen without a teardown.
