So last night, I was taking the seats out of my car to put in my new racing seats. I got the passenger seat out fine, and I got three of the bolts out, but on the fourth bolt, the weld on the nut broke loose, and I cant figure out how to get a wrench to the nut. Has anyone had this problem before? I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

Is simply drilling it out an option, then retapping the hole?

what kind of seats did u get and where? i am looking into seats and was wondering total cost and what kind of aditional things u need beside the seat. (seat rail etc etc)

sears has screw extractors available and they work well..
make sure you choose the right size.. |
An airhammer going straight through the bolt was my only option.

I think I might just grind the head off the bolt, and worry about putting new bolts in later, since my car isn't even legal yet. I still need new seatbelts and front struts, but then it should pass inspection.
