Ok so I am cranking for about 20 mintues and nothing. I tried two times to unflood it and nothing. I tried with the cut-off switch in either position and nothin.



Then I go to see that the damned thing is hooked up to a plug which isn't even connected



Here is a pic of the plug. I am searching madd in the FSM for it but I don't know exactly where to search for something in the interior of the car so I am taking a while. If anybody knows what this plug goes into let me know ASAP

Im not 100% positive but that plug looks just like the one that you plug a turbo timer harness into for the ignition. My guess is thats your starting problem right there. There should be another connector that attaches to that one your holding in the pic.

You ean an aftermarket turbo timer?

that plug is for the fuel pump relay. It plugs in underneth to a black female plug that should be firmly attached to something.



That is also where you wire in a fuel cut off switch. 20 min of cranking? how's your battery and your starter?

I allowed time for cooling. The battery was hooked up to a charger 60% of the time so it should still have plenty to give. Thanks for the imput. I need to get back out there and work on her but its 140 am !!!

i dont like looking udner my dash too many things disconnected that dont connect to anything else, scaresme but since the ar runs i try to block it form my head.

im with him on this one, whenever I come across a no-start FC I use that

plug instead of pulling the relays under the hood, this way you can

plug it back in when you want the car to run.



unless someone did some rewiring and thats not used anymore, cant see

why someone would have taped it to the steering column?



did the car ever run while you have owned it?

I've had the car for 11 days now give or take a couple. There is a lot of stuff missing in the car because it was being used as a parts car but the engine is in perfect condition. Its only a matter of getting the thing to run again. I saw 120 and 118 PSI from the front and rear rotor when I checked the compression. I got the car for 300 smackers so I hardly think this is a bad deal. The engine alone could fetch as much but I dont want to part it out. I am ordering a Haltech soon to get rid of all this stock junk I don't need. :-D

isnt that the circuit opening relay by the steering column?



it does more than just fuel pump duty if so, being disconnected would keep a stock ecu'd car from starting, it's gone on my e6k managed fc though.
