the puff of smoke between shifts was likely oil control rings though... unburned atf would have been smoking the whole time not just between shifts. you can run the car at idle and take the oil filler tube cap off, hold your hand over it and see if you can feel any blow-by... if theres significant blow-by it's probably got oil control rings going out a bit. you can rev it a bit too with the cap off to see if it increases the blow-by. also does the oil smell heavily like fuel? |
nope, no nasty smell now.. burns clean.. I will check that though..And take it on another rampage through the Ghetto..
