I was wondering if factory foglights can be hooked up in a GTU. My GTU did not come with foglights from the dealer yet it appears to have the wiring for it. I have tried to hook some aftermarket foglights up to the wiring using a fure in the slot for the fog light fuse and a factory switch hooked into what seems to be a harness for the factory switch. I am wondering if anyone has done this before and succeeded. I cannot find out why these are not working for me.

Are you sure its all plugged up right? With the switch on see if theres power going to the wiring for the fog lights. I havent ever messed with any of this but it shouldnt be hard.

if you get a reading on a voltmeter at the lamps, then they should be good to go... if you dont, maybe they didnt have a relay installed or.... you dont have a switch! you need a fog light switch to make them work, the switch plugs are prob hanging loose in the dash behind whatever little plastic piece covers up the foglight hole.

If not, its not that hard to put in the wiring yourself... one from the battery, one from the ground, and a switch (and the lights themselves) in between

I have a switch. I will have to do the voltmeter test tomorrow if i have time.
