i was talking with a few people yesterday. and someone mentioned swapping in the ECU from a GTU into a Convertible will give a little extra power. is this true? anyone know about this? whats the GTU ECU code???

interesting, I would like to know the answer to this as well

Dunno, but I heard you can use a vert ECU for a TII swap in a pinch.

amazing what you can do in a pinch

I'm pretty sure the ECU from vert is the same as the coupe.

I was thinking that all the NA's had the same ECU code.... well... one universal for the MT cars, and another universal for the AT cars. Then, there was a separate code for the TII.

I don't know everything though... I could be dead-wrong.

I don't even think the AT cars are different from the MT cars.

Looking at: http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2ndgen/t...plications.html

I don't see any note of transmission type....
