To proceed unsteadily or falteringly; flounder.

Our new sponsor, www.cheapturbo.com has rebuilds for $250. That's ~$100 cheaper than Majestic.

Does anybody know what exactly the "turbo cartridge" is that Mazdatrix sells for about 500 clams?

Center cartridge as in.....? Shaft, bearings, impellers? Could I put it in my housing and have a balanced assembly?

Is this the time to do an upgrade? I really don't have a lot of money to throw at the car right now, what with the cute little crumb-cruncher and all. What's a good economical but more powerful alternative to the stock turbo?

WishIhadaRX7 07-28-2003 06:46 PM

Did you just ask for 1) good 2) economical and 3) powerful in the same sentence? You gotta sacrifice somewhere. LOL

How old is the motor?, I think you should just get your turbo rebuilt if you drive the car daily. and it sounds like you should have a pro do it.

Car and motor and turbo all have 100k as far as I know. I don't drive the car much except to and from the strip and down the quarter-mile, although I could. No A/C makes it a less-than-desirable summer cruiser.

I want to make the car faster, and I don't much like the idea of spending money just to keep it going at the same speed. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png More money, more faster! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png
