Looks like a rebuild is in my engine's near future, but unfortunately i am using the car as a DD to get back and forth to work, so it cant be down for more than a weekend (or maybe 3 days if i really need to take off). So, what seemed like the best way to go to me was to get another s4 NA engine (running) to quickly swap in, then i can take my time rebuilding the engine currently in the car. Id also really like to tear down the engine in it now, just to get a better understanding of it. Which brings me to the point of this post: Does anyone have a running, stock or modified s4 long or shortblock for sale, or know where I could get one for relatively cheap? Im in NJ, and would prefer to avoid shipping costs if possible by picking it up myself.
