Hi again, im in the prosess of buying a RX7, but im not quite sure what i

want to get.. Iwe been looking for RX-7 Turbo IIs for a little while now, but

havent had much luck finding the "right one" for the right prize..

Yesterday i found a new add off a RX7 87' N/A in imo very good shape!

ITs a Mazda RX-7 88' N/A

only 83.000KM (<- wich is nice)

Gold metallic

Posted some pics under.

Now i wonder, how much "stronger/faster" is the TurboII compared to a N/A?

is it alot of effort to tune the N/A to about 250HP?

Im a bit of a sucker for Turbos.. but will i miss it on a proper tuned N/A?

So many questions!

maybe i should wait for the "right" turboII to pop up :-P

The TII is much faster especially when you modify it. If your goal is 250 or more HP, you are going to spend much more and have a barely streetable NA when the TII could make that power pretty easily and reliably. The 250 HP goal for the NA would require a bridge or huge streetport and a lot of tuning so you'd need to pull the engine apart and rebuild anyway.

Test drive the NA and let us know how you feel then.

Yeah, test drive the NA. To make it much faster takes a lot of work. TIIs are much quicker. TIIs can be modded to make much more power than NAs, but they drive differently (boost lag, heavier chassis).

like they said, there are limited options for making the na faster...and none of them are cheap. I've spent over 3K and I'm still only mildly faster (but I'm an idiot.) My advice is to hold out on the T2 unless you already have reliable transportation and are looking for a science project. If you dont wanna mod it much, the NA is hella reliable, provided you start with a well cared for model.

*I JUST GOT ALL THE INITIAL D EPISODES AND THE MOVIE!!*
