aside from the hesitation/bucking I got at the 3800 rpm bad ground thing.

but the guy before me had installed some wierd AF gauge thing that never really works all the time and I saw it actually lighting up and working and it seem to always be lean or pegging off the lean but my temp hasnt gone up to any bizzare temp or anywhere remotely near overheating , the car does have a walbro in it, is it possible the gauge was installed opposite or is it lean?

I have a EGT gauge but I dont know how hot its suppose to be when its fully warmed up, but I know rotaries ehaust gas is hotter than normal engines.

for normal low spirited driving what should it be roughly?

Hesitations and bucking at 3800rpms is a BIG deal, i hope you arent driving the car regularly with this problem. What kind of car, and what mods?

Does the car drive smooth and sound smooth with good even power?

I hope your joking right. they have that flaw at half to full throttle at 3800. And as to the lean problem. It could just be the gauge reading wrong. If your really worried install a new one and see what it says.
