Get a s-afc and some dyno time, or meet someone w/ a wideband o2 sensor.

s-afc???? and that is....? and ewhat does a dyno time have anything to do with this? and what about if they have a wideband o2 sensor???

S-afc is a fuel controller. hes telling you to go to the dyno and tune it all out so your not running so rich.

Fastrotaries 12-18-2002 02:01 AM

i don' t see why you should be running so rich with only those mods. If anything you should be lean. Do you have a FPR on there, or a bigger fuel pump? bigger injectors? your injectors might need to be rebuilt, and balanced. I used to run rich and had my injectors done, then power came back and got better gas mileage. the S-afc is nice, but it would only be a bandage in this situation. Something you should ultimately will need though.

I agree with fastrotaries. With a port job and exhaust mods your engine should be begging for more fuel. Are you running stock injectors?A S-AFC is a must from the sounds of it.

CrazyAssRX7 01-08-2003 09:14 PM

where do i get a fuel controller from??? and yeah im getting some turbo injectors put in soon and get it tuned all out

Check the sponsors up top, apexi makes the S-afc.. You won't need bigger injectors, unless u have a bridgeport.

CrazyAssRX7 01-10-2003 07:32 AM

i have heard from everyone i need bigger injectors to help it out, and i dont even think my secondary injectors are in good shape so ima have to anywayz plus its a good upgrade, any one know anyone selling any 89-91 t2 injectors????

I have a set of 89+ secondaries with low milage on them, but you won't need them I guarantee it. The stock n/a injectors can support atleast 200hp safely. You're not gonna get a n/a motor anywhere near that unless u have a HUGE port job/ported intake manfiolds/straightpipes/intake/pulleys etc... Having more fuel does not produce more power. You'll run rich and loose power with these bigger injectors.

CrazyAssRX7 01-10-2003 10:41 AM

well i have many mods done to my 90 gtu, i have a j-spec 13b port an polish, rb headers, full exhaust, custom intake, racing drivetrain so people have told me those injectors would be good upgrade in the first place

But if you are selling 2 of them how much will you sell them for?

or even 4 of them cuz my friend needs them also
