The Rtek7 ECU Mods look promising. I was going to order the 1.5 kit until I ran some fuel calculations and recently became concerned with running too lean with the setup that i am planning. I have a rare gem, a totally stock 87 T2 with 80,000 miles. My plan is to start mild and go stronger on the engine build. Currently i am aiming to use the stock turbo with a waste-gate mod until i can afford to buy a better turbo. At them moment I am planning to run a semi free flowing exhaust; cork sport 80mm down pipe ceramic honey comb cat, Hallman manual boost controller with in cab adjustment, Walbro 255 fuel pump and K&N Intake. My concern at the moment is if 4 x 550cc injectors will be capable of safely handling the power requirements with a Rtek7 1.5 and is the 2.x mod capable of running running my setup. I would enjoy the tune ability of the 2.0 system but would prefer to save money with the 1.5 for the time being. My research has led me to believe that i would probably be better off going with the 1.7 version ECU and 720cc secondaries but as i am "wet behind the ears" with rotary mods i thought it would be best to get a second opinion of someone more experienced with this. My feeling at the moment is that 720cc injectors may be a bit premature and i am just overshooting my expectations, but what i have read makes me think the transition to an upgraded turbo will be easier by going to the 2.x ecu. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

my guess is to run the 1.7 if you plan on going higher just run the lowest injectors you can get away with on it
