I have a complete S5 engine now (thnx venomrx7). What parts do I have to swap in order to put the S5 rotors in the S4 engine? I am planning on swapping the rotors and the counterweights, but is there anything I am missing? Also, is there a difference between auto and manual? Are there any S5 parts that are better than the S4 parts that I will want to swap? I am already trying to swap the intake mani per this thread Here.
Sorry for so many Q's https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blush.png Thnx Andy |
swap the stationary gears too because they are hardened and you can rev higher. i'm wondering now if the opr's are the same between s4 and 5?

regarding your s4-5 swap, get the s5 fuel pulsation dampner...there's no screw to fall out and cause gas leakage.

all 7 pd's are prone to leak...

really? I know my orig. s4 pd had that screw and NO cap over it, and I luckily didnt have an engine fire when I lost the screw twice...I guess I like the screwless one more.

You need the S5 flywheel cause its what is counterweighted. If the S5 motor is the auto, you can use that counterweight for a lightweight flywheel.
