everyone always says how loud the rotary can be with out a good exhaust system. today i had to cut my rusted out mufflers off so i can take it to the shop to get fixed, i found out that it sounds like a dam airplane lifting off with no mufflers on it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png btw if anyone is wondering i bought a set of stainless universal N1s

You want to hear loud, try an N/a with straight headers.

I have a header- presilencer - ebay fart cannons. I set off car alarms at walmart an aisle+ away - at 3krpms.
|
I made a pipe that came from the header and dumped out right behind the passenger side front wheel. you wanna talk about loud....
we have no sound ordenances (I'll never spell that damn word) here, so there was nothing they could legally do about it, but a week or two later some of the cops I know called me and asked me to fix it... lol... I was getting tired of it anyway.... the paint on the passenger side never would recover from being flame blasted. The best part of this was when I took a girl on a date. I didn't warn her that she would have flames coming up by her window. heh heh... I think she had a minor heart attack... |
Yeah a friend of mine had a 2nd gen with a rusted out y pipe. Heard them coming from quite a distance away.

I've got a video of my N/A with RB header/presilencer and factory mufflers. Anyone want to host it?
