When people think of modifing cars, they always think of buying new parts, putting them on, etc etc. What if you car is so old and has been modified for so long, that you actually have to restore the aftermarket parts? This is the stage where i am now, my greddy Vspec FMIC is getting worked over. If you know anything about this old style stuff, you know that i came with this nasty blue powder coat/paint/something on all the pipes. Mine had been chemically stripped and repainted with some kinda BBQ paint i think. My restoration project includes stripping the pipes down to bare metal with a wire wheel and repainting them something that doesn't suck. No polish here cuz the pipes are made of steel not aluminum. Here are some shots of my progress so far.
