Just thought i would get your opinion on a few things on some mods for a 90 N/A. Ive not done much to it yet, plugs wires, HKS exhaust, some beefy strut braces. Trying to find out what kind of exhaust is next. Im thinking about having the pipe bent 2 3/4" by a muffler shop prob crush bent and then just putting in maybe a RB or Apexi Muffler, going from duel to single to save weight. After that ill prob get into the fuel system. Im just looking for more autocross type of power, quick throttle response and like that. Other than what ive mentioned above im not sure what else to do or what order. Any help is appreciated and I appologize for the long message.

Go w/ a mandrel bent tubing...crush is just going to hurt the flow.....



get some headers and hiflo cat or test pipe too...the fuel system should be fine unless you've done motor work...

The TB mod will help out a lot with throttle response past 5000rpm, and it costs very little to do, unfortuneately the how-to website (fc3s-pro.com) does not exhist anymore. I'll try to make one for the NA guys and have it pinned here.



A lightweight flywheel and a good clutch will help too! There is no need for fuel system mods with an unported motor. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. You said you have HKS exhaust, there isnt much finer than that. I suggest a hi-flow cat, or cat elimination for a good boost in hp also. Headers are to taste so to speak, they are VERY loud, but work great. Use only the racingbeat headers if you go that route though.

what apex said... and if you're looking for more autocross power on an NA, I wouldnt switch to a big single system... you need your torque down low. I found better low and mid power from my dual system (RP) than when switching to a high flow single.
