What does this involve? I know new relays, but they are also talking about solder joints. Sounds like very little work to charge $95.00 for on egay.
If they are just talking about cleaning up solder joints I could do that in my sleep, then it's just a matter of finding the relays. |
I saw a write-up on it a long fuggin' time ago, don't know what was involved, but if you find out, let me know, mine needs it too. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

Yeah I need it too. Do you guys think those relays are hard to find?
|
I tried that, and decided to go the route where you cut off the plastic above the relay to get it out and all that. needless to say I hacked the **** out of it and was totally useless. :bigok: Maybe someone with a steadier hand could do it right. If u want I have the switch with the new relay, I can get a part # for the one relay.

There is a guy on the TRI7 mailing list that repairs them for $25, at the most its $45, cant quite remember.

These are pretty good how-to's. You may have to cut and paste into your browser window...
