Is there another car to get the fuel injectors off of? like an eclipse or 626 or something? also is the gasket kit from rotaryaviation.com good? I might be going with that one. And if everything is good, like apex seals, housings, etc., What do I have to replace when putting the engine together? And also what kind of paint do you use to paint the housings? Want to make it look new. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

For painting the engine, do not use high temp engine paint. The stuff in like a silver can. It looked good for a while. Then I used a friendly engine degreaser and it was so good, it removed the paint too!!! WTF!! I don't really care though, it's covered by the fan anyhow.

When doing a rebuild if all the hard parts are good, I usually replace all the springs, and apex seals. Then upgrade to fd corner seal springs, webber 200 jets, and fd oil pressure reg. I check to see if the side seals and corner seals are within spec, and ofcourse clearance everything. Cleaning up the ports is a must also. I have used the high temp engine paint for the rotors in the past with good results. |
Also how do you unsrew the oil lines off of the front of the engine? That is the only thing in my way. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

What about this place, RotorSportsRacing.com. The rebuild kit looks pretty nice and a little pricey. I might get there oil metering lines too. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
