ok....when I make left turns, my left rear wheel makes a grinding noise. Also, when I make fast turns, my gas pedal stops responding (ie. press all the way down = nothing) but the engine keeps running. After i finished turning, its all back to normal.
anyone had that problem? |
thats wierd. the grinding could be a wheel bearing

broken differential? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif
|
it now seems that its doing it when the shock is compressed.
|
is the wheel hitting anything?
mike |
i dont know.....i think its diff related or maybe strut mount
|
its possible one of the axels rubs on something, or maybe the muffler heat shield is close to the tire?
mike |
there gone
i'll inspect the mount tonight to see if its still good i ordered the mazdatrix toe eliminator bushings and will order the suspension energy kit sometimes this week but i dont believe its anything related to that....while having the wheels off might as well change them.... |

i heard you cant change rx-7 wheel bearings, you have to change the hub...is this true?
|
Are you sure the bearing aren't sealed? If they are sealed then you need a shop to press them in the hubs.Big pain in the ass.I think the FC's bearings might be sealed.
|
my engine cuts out under hard left turns, especially when i try a quick uturn. i've never found the problem...
