anyone ever blow out the rear end of there tranny? does it ever go out? break any axles? how much punishment can it take? just a thought?

in a N/A or TII ?

The NA tranny I think can only hold about 250HP...the T2 tranny can go to about 400HP. I had the driveshaft snap on me in an old pickup....lol, thats about all the knowledge I have on what happens when they break. Its not bad, you just dont go anywhere....

Axles won't break, unless you do alot of hard launches. I see people break axles on TII's and FD's once they start getting close to 400 RWHP. TII rear ends are pretty strong, as well as the transmissions, but once you start going past 500 RWHP they could become a problem.

Ive seen my pinion gear fly right thru the housing when I blew the rear in my Camaro back in the day. Never did find any large part of it either. I had the housing hanging on my old shop wall, should have saved it, lol.
