where should i go to get something like 4.88

i just want something thatll get me up to speed faster

its actually pretty expensive. the FC uses a weird long pinion gear, so you need to buy a 4.88 for an 84-85 rx7 or 94-05 miata/s2000 and then take your pinion gear to someone, and they will cut it, and weld the new gear on the old pinion shaft, then you get to setup the r&p



gear sets are usually $500ish, labor might be another $500-750.

well I wanna drift what would b the cheapest way to get the tires to break loose without have to clutch dump and I'm not good with weight transfer drifting yet for the higher speeds

NOS



NOS will give you several minutes or momentary bursts of power. Instant power that will break the tires loose. But if you are drifting you will probably want your rear end welded anyway, so you don't have the weird side to side traction that happens in an open ended rear end car.
