I got around to putting the swaybar in... I went with adjustable endlinks as well but didn't tighten them down yet since it has to come off again next week to due the rest of my suspension parts (you can see in the pics my control arms, etc are original...they won't be for long! ) You can see the stock worn end links there too. If you have original suspension...you really may want to invest in upgrading. If you don't want the sway bar, getting the endlinks alone will make your stock sway that much better!

Pretty straight forward install...MUCH TIGHTER fit then stock... I love the endlinks...makes things easy..

Weight difference is 6lbs. Stock sway was 9lbs, new RB unit is 15.... so I'm adding a few pounds that I'll have to subtract later, lol. I also installed the S5 rear bumper this weekend...but no pics ..you all know what they look like!

Jelous. I can not wait to get the rest of my suspension done this summer.

you can never go wrong with RB

psychoseven 03-06-2006 08:16 AM

that looks nice and easy when theres nothing in the way!

One320B 03-06-2006 10:56 AM

Lol... it's easy regardless...it's just better for photos when there is nothing there https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

If you had a stock car, the only difference will be to take the under panels off...thats it.

-Take wheels off

-Take under panels/splash gaurds off (if you've got them)

-Unbolt old endlinks

-Unbolt sway bar

-Install is reverse of removal

Are you planning on using the rear along with the front? Right now, I'm using the RB front only with the stock rear and I don't like the way it feels. That bar is thick and the front of the car is ridiculously stiff.... it actually feels better with no strut tower bar and just the sway bar.

One320B 03-11-2006 08:58 AM

I'll be adding the rear as well.... this car is for drift thus a stiff front end is just what i want... the response I'll need from this bar has to be crisp.. the rear will be added later, but may swap for an adjustable unit... have to see how everything sets up first. I'm focusing on the front end right now so i can get the motor back in the car and start getting all the fenders/bumper setup, lol... race season has begun!
