Ok well i have an 89 gtu, i have a pacesetter header, and a corksport 3" catback. I also have the stock cat in the middle, right now i love the way it sounds, but i also do not like the restriction the cat gives you. How much louder is the presilencer, than the stock cat?

Quit a bit louser, and on another note, get rid of that Pacesetter crap, its rusts like crazy.

Levittown isn't that far from me. Don't you have emissions testing?
|
yea but i can always switch out the cat when i get it inspected. And about the pacesetter header, the only reason i fell for it is because i needed one before the end if this month because my inspection is due. racingbeat wouldent be able to get me there header until the 2nd week of july. after inspection i am going to sell the pacesetter and get the racing beat one. Oh yea, the pacesetter is painted black, after about 2 minutes of the car running there wasnt one flake left https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif garbage, and the flanges are like 1/4 inch thick.

The stock CAT is the MOST restrictive part of NA exhaust. You should feel significant gains by removing it. The car will be LOUD with anything other than stock. High flow CAT or presilencer is the way to go, but if you put cheap **** in it will be blown out in no time.

A question about the RB header. I am thinking of buying one for my FC. I already have a straight midpipe to Bonez exhaust system. Will my midpipe fit perfectly with the RB header as with the stock manifold?
'=' |
If your Bonez pipe goes from the Y pipe to the stock manifold outlet, it will NOT fit to the RB header.
