Does any 2nd Gen owner besides me have this setup?
I am having problems with power output and would like to converse with someone who also has this kit. Thanx Michael |
i am very familiar with the setup.. whats wrong wit it?? what kinda jets? how many FP are u running? what kinda holley? which manifold and when was the last time u rebuilt it?
|
keep in mind a N/A engine isnt the most powerfull thing
to begin with, let alone a carbed one |
I am running 6 PSI with a Holley Blue fuel pump. It is like brand new. Only about 8000 miles on it.
It is the RB setup with the modified 600 CFM Holley. I have no idea what size jets are in it. |
Make sure the secondaries are working. I read (I think on the evil forum) that someont had a problem with this.
You can unhook the secondary linkage and see if it loses power, or put a screw in the linkage to force the secondaries to open. |
Let alone a carbed one? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif a carb is the best way to get power from a N/A.

on stock ports, even carb'd its hard to get much power from NA... on a heavy port, carb would probably be very good power if tuned right
