I got in a buying mood this past week and have come to the point where I want a new radiator. Not that my stocker isnt working, just that now that i've put 2 miles on the motor(i know, thats a lot huh) that I would like to keep it as cool as possible. Since the car is also going to be used mostly for drag, and i have an FMIC, i would like one that will have the biggest surface area, still mount well w/out too much modification..and look good too! I was thinking fluidyne, but dont have over $500 to spend on the radiator(but if you all can convince me its worth it..i'll save up some more)..

My choices as of now are K2RD, C&R, and Koyo. The Koyo is very well priced, but how well does it cool, and is it any larger then the stocker? C&R is more expensive, but have seen them used by my more domestic-sided uncle for his big blocks and he swears by them..., then there is K2Rd is which I can see if very large..but how close to the stock battery tray side will it go?? I know u have to remove the battery tray, etc..no biggie as my battery is getting moved anyways due to FMIC. But I want to make sure that the radiator doesn't hit the FMIC piping...i have about 2-3" between the pipe and my stock radiator...anybody have an opinion or better yet PICS of these radiators installed??? Sorry so long, much appreciated though...

I just saw on horsepowerfreaks.com the fluidyne for under $500...so now i'm leaning that way again..but they say the C&R radiator comes w/ a SPAL fan..hmm...and its cheaper then the fluidyne...I'M GOING MAD...HELP!!! lol... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

the k2rd one works well but im unsure of how much room you would have with your setup (Maybe mike can help on that?). If the k2rd would fit id use it.

i have a fluidyne and it's huge, and it does it's job well.

If you're looking for lotsof bang for the buck, look into PWR Radiators, i thuink they used to make koyo's or fluidynes **** but left and made their own company.

I would like to know what radiators come with the tapped hole for the stock water sensor and heater hose outlets.

The Koyo is supposed to be a direct bolt in with the stock sensors and stuff and its the cheapest out there.. around $350 I think. I've heard nothing bad about them.
