Well my friend got in the mail today his racing beat Header & Pre - Silencer. We put it on with the stock Cat-Back for now.

Sound of the engine with the headers only nothing else is incredible. I was under the car and I did not think is was gonna be so loud, I had my friend turn the car and OMG at idel it left my ears ringing. We turned it on again and reved it and the sound would vibrate the ground. We put on the pre-silencer and quieted it down about 60% souds nice at part throttel, nice under 3K at WOT then after 3K it reminds mr of my dirtbike days. Damn it Is nice unit weights a hell of alot less then the factory system. and cant beat the quality. If I stay N/A Im gonna use Exhaust wrap on the headers to reduce underhood temp.

BTW: Ass dyno said OMG acceleration is alot faster and getting through the gears faster. Plus that his car has the 5th & 6th ports stuck closed. we are preping a new lim for his car as we speak. think it will make a diffrence?

Sounds good...

what do you mean by prepping a new LIM? Are you guys going to fix the 5th & 6th ports? If they are stuck closed, and you get them to open up(just wire 'em open) then you should see an additional gain in top end...

Wrapping the headers will ruin them. You'll be much better off build a heat shield or leaving them as it.

I just put a Pacesetter header on a buddies N/A and it acctually dropped the underhood temps. Even the coolant gauge is lower and the temperature around here is increasing.
