sry this is kinda stupid but whats the stock rwhp fer a 98 na? i heard it was around 160ish?? and 1 more how much $ would i have to put into it to get it up 2 my goal wich is 215 ??
stock hp @ the flywheel is 160 for an 89'... if you want 215rwhp, that is going to take a bridgeport, ported manifolds and every bolt-on that there is..
ok..how much hp could i get from just bolt ons or easy to do mods...i guess what im tryin to say is that i dont wanna pull the motor out of my car unless i go completly turbo but i would rather go bolt on
Its hard to say, not many people get on the dyno. Especially n/a guys..
alright...ill prob. never get on a dyno either but is there like a ballpark hp rating for each part i put on?, the most i wanna spend is around 3k fer the motor...any suggestions??
Why not just but a used T2? $3000 couls buy you a pretty decent one, I purchased mine for $1500, but it needs some work.
ya i was thinking that but i already bought a n/a 4 1200 w/ a system almost in perfect shape it was a good deal so i had to jump on it...think i should do a tII conversion? how much would it cost?
t2 conversions are very in-depth, just ask 1revvin7, I've been a member of this forum for almost a year ands his is just running now. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

alright i kinda got that considering you need a new engine drive train and what not soo i think iv decided im gonna stick to bolt-ons i dont wanna port if i dont have to like i said i have around 3k i little more if needed to get this car to 215 rwhp is w/o nos if possible, now the question is......."is it?"
o and it has to be street legal..edmissions is important but not that important.....soo what im trying to say is id like to atleast keep 1 of my cats and it cant be as lould as hell
