First is the diffs the same ie bolt in.... and the driveshaft? the T2 is stonger but shorter that a At one...... so can I get the J-spec 5 sp T2 driveshaft and diff......and of course the counterwieghts! and help is welcome!!!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif

its a bolt in procedure, you will need the driveshaft from a TII and a crossmember from a manual if im not mistaken,
|
You'll need the TII transmission, flywheel, clutch, starter, driveshaft, rear end, and axles. The last 3 are optional if you go with a custom driveshaft. Don't forget the slave and master cylinders, as well as the pedals. I don't think that the TII transmission and mount will bolt right in. I think that the mounting holes on A/T frame are in slightly different spots.

on the trans mount, will there be hole availible from factory?/ Aftermarket source? or( last option) is there a safe way to Fab? Once again thanks for all of everyones' help!!! BTW I also need the right counterwieghts right?

If I keep the at and use a TII rearend what drive shaft do I use?
|
a custom one

No the T2 driveshaft will not bolt in to the NA diff. You will have to take the the drive shaft ot a driveshaft place and have the T2 driveshaft modified to a na folk at the diff end.
I' ve heard the mounts of the chassis AT are located differently than na cars so that would be the other problem C |
Ups I mis ready, If you are going with a TII diff you also need the TII half shaft since they are bigger when they hook up to the diff.
