ok, got my new driveshaft in, got the heat shield back in place, now i need to get my exsaust back in, it's freakin heavy! anyone have any idea's on how to heave it into place long enough to get it bolted onto the header and back into place?
put it on the hangers first.
cant lift it enough to get it on the hangers, i dont have much power to lift it while im layin on my back and it's above my head, lol
make some friends?
haha... there all at work or out of town and im impatient when my car isnt running
just don't do like me and drive with it off for 2 weeks...
can you say 2 exhaust tickets @ 75bux each.. thank god i'm going to get my exhaust put back on this weekend... |
i was thinking about that but cops seem to peg me for any exsuast violation they can think of, i almost got ticketed for exsaust related things 5 times with the 510, imagine what kind of a target i make now in a convertable sports car being only 20
hook up the y-pipe oval hangers on first while having the mufflers laying on the ground. this should give you some leverage while hooking up the back.

you are working under a car without jack stands? you are a brave man. Maybe if hte ground clearence of an rx7 was 6 inches + I would tempt fate but not when ground clearence is less than your body. |
