Today, about three miles from my house I started smelling gas. Well, with all of the posts on the pulsation dampner and fires I figured the that was the first place to look. Poped the plastic cover off and the screw fell out with it.
O-ring looked good so I put some lock-tight on the threads, put it back in, thightened it in and covered the whole thing with JB weld. Lucky me, no fire. (I do have a fuel cut off switch installed also) |

out of curiousity, cant pre 89 sev-e's use '89 and later fuel rails, wouldn't this prevent accidents whith fuel spillage?
