Looks nice! What "paper?" is that on your fenders?

Its called "softtape". It has a low adhesion style glue which really never sets up. Its similar to 3M 2090 long mask, otherwise known as "bluetape"

except unlike bluetape you can get it in up to 18" rolls and as i said, the adhesive never sets up i.e No fu#king residue to clean off. A single layer of it provides very little protection, but once the first layer is applied, you can either apply more layers or switch to more heavy duty means of protection. Gotta protect those sweet paint jobs!!

Engine installs arent bad. When I made the switch to rotaries from V8's and V6's it was like paradise. Soo much room to work with and the engine weighs almost nothing, plus the engine/trans combo for and install is effortless. It went so smooth I was sure I forgot something https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Progress is never fast enough https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif Its been three years since the engine popped on the return trip from Seattle. Then It sat in storage 'cause the paint shop was backed up, so to make a long story short I feel like i'm three years behind, but i'm taking my time and paying attention to every detail. Perfection IS unattainable but thats what im lookin for, besides this project is a test run for the real project: I gotta go turbo https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif It will probably be ready to roll in late spring, Maybe sooner If I can get away from the business for more than two seconds https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif
